Buddies Around the World is a 'free to join' scheme that has the intentions of bringing fans who live in far flung lands together and to make them feel more of a part of St Mirren Football Club.

On the Official Website we will show a map of the world (see below) which will pin all the meeting places of St Mirren fans around this planet of ours who register to the scheme. We will also carry details of these meeting places and how you can get to them.

The criteria to join is pretty simple - as the applicant you need to be a St Mirren fan who is 18-years-of-age or older who can't get to games regularly because of where you are living in the world. So if you have emigrated, been sent to work abroad for a spell, on a military posting or even if you are a national of the country you live in who likes to follow St Mirren - we want to hear from you!

All we need is for you to fill in the details in the application form (see link below) and e-mail it back to us to the e-mail address norrie@saintmirren.net with the subject header 'Buddies Around the World' and then we'll get your venue pinned on the map and your club contact details set-up on the website.

There is no minimum - even if you are online at home listening to the game or watching it on TV and you want other Buddies to join you - this is your chance. We're also looking for fans who gather together regularly at venues to watch games - the more the merrier.

This scheme is primarily being aimed at those of you who live outwith Scotland but we are aware that we have fans based in Scotland who are well outside commuting distance of Paisley or too infirm to get along so you too are free to join.

For now this is being run as a pilot scheme where we will let others know where you are so they can join you but if all goes to plan and we have a good response then in the future the whole idea could be further developed which will hopefully mean further benefits to being a registered member of Buddies Around the World.
