Front men Paul Quinn and Dennis Wyness have been out on loan over the last couple of months, Saints manager Gus MacPherson gave us an update on how things are progressing.

He said, "We have been monitoring Paul Quinn and Dennis Wyness during their loan terms with Queen's Park and Queen of the South respectively.

"Paul's loan has been extended by a month which means he will hopefully continue to get regular playing time under his belt which is very important for his progress."

Tomorrow Saints face high flying Hibernian and while some faces return to the squad from injury, Gus admits it hasn't been the best week to prepare them.

He said, "Mo Camara, Allan Johnston and Craig Dargo are all back at training having completed their rehab programmes. Tomorrow's game against Hibs has came too soon for Mo and we'll be assessing the other players after training today to see if they will be included in the squad.

"Training has been difficult this week due to the horrendous weather which has made it harder to get the players returning from injury back to the level they need to be involved at for the games."

Third place Hibs recorded a 2-1 victory against Saints on the opening day of this season's league campaign but Gus believes that if his side play to their strengths that they can reverse that tomorrow.

He said, "This is a game I'm really looking forward to. Hibs have had a really good start to the season and we've had a solid start. Since beating us on the opening day of the season Hibs have went on to consistently win games.

"But we gave a good account of ourselves at Ibrox two weeks ago so we have got to take the confidence from that and build on it as we continue to try and play in that manner.

"It will be a tough game, you always know that when you play Hibs. But if we perform to the level that we know we are capable of producing then we will be more than capable of winning of the game."
