St Mirren kept their pre-season winning streak going this afternoon thanks to a hard earned 1-0 victory against Ayr United at Somerset Park.

The First Division side gave Saints a good run for their money but a strike from Andy Dorman on the 42nd minute was enough to give Gus MacPherson's side the win.

Saints will head to Lake Garda in Italy tomorrow for their week long training camp.

St Mirren: Gallacher, Ross, Camara, Potter, Mair, Brady, Thomson, Dorman, O'Donnell, Dargo, Higdon.
